This page shows the house as bought - but mainly it documents the renovations which commenced just 3 days after moving in. They were scheduled to take around 8 weeks, followed by plumbing, wiring and painting. We were extraordinarily lucky to find the most wonderful builder, Gregory, and his assistant Saiid.  Both were brilliant 'artisans' and just the nicest and hard working people you can imagine. As were all the tradesman - a huge thanks to Guillaume, Florian, Fred, Bruno, Theirry and Nathaniel.

For those 12 weeks we lived in the Guesthouse on the pool terrace and watched these guys slog it out through the start of summer heat, never missing a beat, finishing to budget and on time. And making the entire experience an adventure and a pleasure. How many home owners can say that ?
